Well i thought this was going to be hard, but not so. Just need the right commands!
On the old server
stsadm -o export -url http://sharepointwebsite -filename c:\backup\export.bak -includeusersecurity
On the new server
stsadm –o import –url http://sharepointwebsite -filename c:\backup\export.bak –includeusersecurity
To make this work you 1st need a site on the new server and a collection template (this must be the SAME as the exported site, but it will tell you if you have it wrong)
